Emergency Radiology Academic Positions at Stanford University School of Medicine
We are pleased to announce that the Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine is recruiting board certified or board eligible radiologists with training in emergency radiology or body imaging for our in Emergency Radiology. The position is part of a growing clinical practice, and candidates will have the opportunity to shape and build the practice.
This is an academic position within the new Emergency Radiology Division of Stanford University Department of Radiology. The position will primarily consist of clinical and teaching duties, and is open rank in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The clinical duties involve providing diagnostic imaging services, including participation in after-hours shifts. No pediatric imaging coverage is required, and minimal neuroimaging coverage is expected. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have an interest in teaching trainees.
The applicant should have an M.D. degree or equivalent, and have a California Medical license prior to appointment start date.

Salary Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $426,000 - $444,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $459,000 - $477,000
Clinical Professor: $497,000 - $524,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
